POTOSI - Pecatonica suffered a tough 6-3 loss to Potosi Saturday, 6-3.

The Chieftains scored two runs in each of the first three innings. Potosi out-hit the Vikings 8-7. Both teams also had two errors.

Pecatonica scored one run in the fifth and added two more in the seventh.

In other area action, Monticello lost to Cassville 6-2.
