Pec-Argyle rolls to win

SHULLSBURG - Pecatonica-Argyle senior running back Riley Ostby rushed for 129 yards on 16 carries and scored five touchdowns to power the Vikings to a 62-14 win over Shullsburg.

Pecatonica-Argyle (9-0) racked up 393 total rushing yards. Junior Cam Treuthardt rushed for 99 yards on 12 carries.

"The running game was working for us tonight," Pecatonica-Argyle coach Larry Green said. "Our line was great. They got after it right away."

The Vikings' defense was just as impressive. The Vikings limited the Miners to just 97 total yards and forced six turnovers.

Pecatonica-Argyle junior quarterback Logan Green was 4-for-5 passing for 67 yards with two touchdowns. Junior wide receiver A.J. Hendrickson had three receptions for 52 yards and two touchdowns.



In other games, Evansville-Albany routed Big Foot 40-7 and Darlington pounded Iowa-Grant

42-0. Black Hawk rolled to a 42-0 win over River Ridge. Waterloo topped New Glarus-Monticello
