DODGEVILLE - The Pecatonica-Argyle wrestling team edged Dodgeville 42-39 in a dual meet Tuesday.
The Vikings posted four pins and Dodgeville had three forfeits to seal the win.
Pecatonica-Argyle sophomore Cody James, at 125 pounds, pinned Dodgeville's Cody Degenhardt in 1 minute, 20 seconds. Pecatonica-Argyle senior Chris James (130), senior Tyler Francois (135) and Eli Davis (152) all recorded pins for the Vikings. Chris James pinned Jacob Recob in 45 seconds. Francois stuck Logan Yeager in 3:05 and Davis pinned Tristin Hill in 1:06.
Iowa-Grant 47, Darlington 18
DARLINGTON - The Redbirds won just three matches in dropping a SWAL Conference match to the Panthers.
Iowa-Grant, ranked eighth in the Wisconsin Wrestling Online Division 3 poll, dominated the meet racking up four pins, three major decisions and a technical fall.
Darlington senior Colton Hackett at 189 pinned Iowa-Grant's Austin Kite in 1:05. Darlington's Joey Meylor pinned Cody Dowell in 1:07. The other victory for the Redbirds came from freshman Hayden Black at heavyweight due to a forfeit by the Panthers.
