JUDA - Juda girls basketball coach Curt Brown has preached to his team about playing four full quarters of basketball.

The Panthers did just that in a 36-22 win over Orfordville Parkview Tuesday.

Juda (3-0) led just 17-12 at halftime, but they outscored the Vikings 13-4 in the third quarter.

Juda senior Ellen Kiser scored a team-high 13 points. Fellow senior Amber Ramos added 10 and senior C.J. Dunwiddie chipped in six.

"I think one of the things we have tried to work on this season is improving our defense and playing with more intensity in the second half," Brown said.

In other action, Pecatonica lost to Edgerton 74-45.
