JUDA - Sophomore Courtney Moisan and the Juda softball team had a flair for the dramatic as the Panthers came back and beat Belmont 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning Friday.
With the Panthers trailing 1-0 in the seventh, the offense came alive against Belmont, which was a state qualifier last year. Juda junior Megan Trotter reached on an error and went to second on a passed ball. Freshman Jessica Rackow then delivered a game-tying RBI single. After Rackow stole second, Moisan came through with a game-winning RBI single.

With the win, Juda improves to 1-1.
Sophomore Amber Ramos pitched a complete game one-hitter. She struck out 12, walked two and hit two.
"Amber Ramos threw a heck of a game," Davis said.
