BELMONT - Juda-Albany's Tabatha Davis pitched seven innings in her team's 3-2 win over cross-conference foe Belmont, while also batting 2-for-4 at the plate as her team prepares for playoff play.
"This was a nice win for us," Juda-Albany coach Bill Davis said. "Belmont is a good team, so a game like this is nice to have as it gets up prepared for tournament play."
Davis allowed five hits, two walks and three strikeouts in her entire game's work. Sophomore Jessica Crull and freshman Sara Jordan also were 2-for-4 for Juda-Albany.
Juda-Albany will host Pecatonica in a regional quarterfinal Thursday.
