MONROE - An informational meeting will be held about the new "semi-pro" football team Green County Outlaws from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at Leisure Lanes in Monroe.
Co-owner Bobby McGinnis said he will inform the public where the team stands to date, including discussion of the team's options for securing a playing field. Future players will also sign up for the team at the meeting, and the team's new jerseys will be released.
The meeting is open to the public.
The Green County Outlaws' inaugural season begins in May.
