OREGON - The Cheesemakers fell to Oregon 8-2 in a Badger South contest Tuesday night.
Monroe's Nick Benkert scored on an assist from Aaron Ziolkowski in the second half, and Alex Barradas netted another off an assist from Daniel Lapp. The Panthers led 5-0 at halftime.
The Cheesemakers (4-4-2, 1-1 Badger South) host Sugar River in a nonconference game at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Sugar River 4, Watertown Luther Prep 0
BELLEVILLE - Brock Kelly had a hat-trick, as the Sugar River Raiders blanked Luther Prep.
Kelly scored in the 13th minute, the 25th minute and the 51st minute for the Raiders, who improve to 6-3-3 overall. Justin Knoebl scored in the 65th minute. Jack Gentilli and Jared Widish added assists for Sugar River.
"Kelly was fantastic tonight," Raiders coach Kyle Webber said. He added that Luther Prep played a very strong game and his team had to find different ways to score.
Tyler Boeck had eight saves in goal for Sugar River.
