NEW GLARUS - Ever since the second half of a 58-43 loss to Barneveld Jan. 28, the Glarner Knights have been stuck on the wrong Tom Petty tune.
Whereas for a while, Braden Rindy's gang was "Running Down a Dream," looking for a second straight outright Capitol South title, the group continued "Free Fallin'" Thursday night in a 52-24 loss to Cambridge.
"We must have missed 20 layups tonight," Rindy said.
Katie Ehlen led the Blue Jays with 21 points. The Glarner Knights have scored just 49 points in their last two games and must win Tuesday at Marshall to salvage a three-way tie for the league title.

The Vikings have the art of dominating the start of halves down pat.
In between 21-point quarters in the first and third, Vikings coach Josh Tarrell incorporated a number of different rotations from the norm to get some postseason prep in during Thursday's Six Rivers East road victory.
"Their third quarter defensive pressure was definitely much tougher, and even though Kimee Chandler played three quarters, she only had two points, because she got everyone involved," Juda coach Curt Brown said.
Pecatonica junior Elise Sigg led all scorers with 13 points while Larissa Klemm led Juda with nine.
