BEAVER DAM - The Monroe girls tennis team swept three matches to win the Beaver Dam Quad Saturday.
The Cheesemakers defeated McFarland 4-3 for the second time this season. The Cheesemakers beat Madison Memorial 6-1 and knocked off Beaver Dam 6-1.
Monroe junior Ellie Shuda at No. 2 singles, senior Alyssa Quinn at No. 4 singles and the Cheesemakers' No. 1 doubles team of senior Kelsey Erickson and junior Brooke McBain each went 3-0 Saturday.
Monroe senior Kristin McArdle at No. 1 singles, junior Lily Priewe at No. 3 singles and the No. 3 doubles team of Elisabeth Brunner and Ellie Grossen all went 2-1.
Monroe will play at Fort Atkinson Tuesday.
