MONROE - The Monroe Optimists No. 1 picked up its second win this summer with a 10-0 win over Lena Sunday.
Natalie Dillon allowed only two hits and struck out 12 in picking up the complete game victory. Kari Jordan lead the offense with a pair of run scoring doubles. Kylea Ambrose and Cassidy Pivonka also added run scoring hits for Monroe.
Monroe Optimists No. 2 got two hits each from Alexis Hilliard, Hannah Betthauser and Madison Katzenberger in its 9-7 win over New Glarus. Jessie Bennett struck out six in picking up the win for Monroe.
In other games, Brodhead defeated Monticello 3-1, Orangeville defeated Argyle 15-3 and Evansville beat Juda 11-3.
