EVANSVILLE - Three Monroe golfers and one Brodhead golfer took part in the Division 2 Evansville sectional Tuesday.
Junior Eric Timm was the top finisher for Monroe with an 84. Sophomore Matt Miller was a stroke behind him with an 85. Senior Caleb Pagel rounded out the scoring for Monroe with a 94.
Brodhead senior Tyler Welsh shot a 92.
None of the local golfers will be advancing to the state meet. Edgerton and McFarland were the top two teams and both advanced to the state meet.
Edgerton's Andrew Morrison was the top overall golfer with a 70.
