MONROE - The Monroe girls swimming team had to forfeit its home opener against Madison Edgewood Tuesday night.

According to a public announcement at the meet, Monroe forfeited the dual meet because they had just one official and WIAA requires two officials for meets.

Monroe will swim at McFarland Tuesday, Sept. 21.
