Monroe falls; Fury win

BELOIT - After a scoreless first period, Beloit memorial broke through with two second-period goals to propel them to a 3-0 nonconference win over the Monroe boys hockey co-op Thursday at the Edwards Ice Arena. Beloit Memorial's Andy Badger scored an unassisted goal at the 4-minute mark in the second period. The Purple Knights followed that up with a power-play goal by Kyle Hanaman to take a 2-0 lead over the Cheesemakers.
