MONROE - Two Monroe Avalanche boys hockey co-op players received Badger South All-Conference honors recently.
Monroe senior Tyler Johnson was named second-team all-conference at the forward position. Senior Cade Martin of Belleville was named honorable mention all-conference as a defenseman.
Johnson was the Avalanche's leading point scorer with 36. He scored a team-high 20 goals and also had 16 assists.
Martin was second on the team in assists (15) and also scored five goals.
Monroe finished the season 3-18-1.
Three of the first-team all-conference selections were from Badger South Conference champion Madison Edgewood.
