Monroe Co-op falls short vs. tough Waunakee

MONROE - Playing without two starters, the Monroe boys hockey co-op hung with Waunakee before dropping a nonconference game to the Warriors 3-0 Friday. "We played well tonight and worked extra hard but in the end we couldn't find the net," Monroe coach Josh Smith said. "Being down two starters and some of our second line definitely hurt us.
