Both the Monroe boys and girls cross country teams competed without its top five runners in both the boys and girls races of the 25th Annual Baertschi Invitational on Saturday.

The Monroe boys finished fifth out of 12 teams in the large school division and the Monroe girls took last out of 11 schools. For more information, see Tuesday's Monroe Times.
