MONROE - The Monroe boys basketball team will host its annual camp May 24-26 at Monroe High School.

Boys in grades 3-8 will be able to participate. The cost is $35, which will include a T-shirt and potential other prizes.

Monroe head coach Pat Murphy will run the camp, which may again have a surprise visit from a member of the Wisconsin Badgers. Last year Keaton Nankivil attended.

The camp will teach the fundamentals of defense, offense, shooting, rebounding, dribbling and passing. There will also be individual and team competitions throughout.

Third- and fourth-graders will hold their camp from 4-5 p.m. all three nights; fifth- and sixth-grades will be from 5-6:30 p.m.; and the seventh- and eighth-grades will be from 6:30-8 p.m.

Registration forms can be picked up after contacting Murphy at 328-7310, and checks can be made out to Monroe Boys Club.
