Monroe squeeked by Madison Edgewood, 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(5), knocking off the top seeded Crusaders in the semifinal. In the finals, against second-seeded Monona Grove, Weis and Bruce battled through a tough match where multiple games reached deuce to win 7-5, 6-1.
