MONROE - The 40th annual city mixed doubles tennis tournament is slated for Aug. 1-2. This is the last of the three summer tennis tournaments sponsored by the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department.
The tournament is open to anyone and the fee is $24 per team. All teams are guaranteed two matches with T-shirts given to the first-, second- and third-place finishers and consolation winners.
The tournament will begin at noon Aug. 1 at Recreation Park.
