MONROE - The Midwest Extreme Wrestling Camp comes to town June 14 to 16 at the Green County Family YMCA, 1307 2nd St., Monroe.
The annual camp, taught by Luther College assistant coach Billy Huebner, is open to wrestlers entering grades 4 to 12, and will cost $75 for each camper; a T-shirt is included. Camp will be in session from 6 to 8:15 p.m., each night.
Huebner has 16 years of wrestling clinic experience, running over 250 clinics across the Midwest and the country. Nine of the teams he has coached have won trophies at the NCAA level and he has helped produce 56 All-American wrestlers.
The camp aims to teach campers how to break down opponents, both physically and mentally.
