The WIAA girls basketball tournament is one of the best times of the year.

There still may be snow on the ground, and Spring fever may be hitting seniors this time of year, but there will be plenty of basketball games to help that transition from winter to spring.

Working as a sports reporter is a lot like being a scrapbooker. The playoffs are where memories are made. There are a couple area teams capable of cutting down the nets and winning a state championship this year.
