Wildcats celebrate four grads that commit to play at the next level

Four Belleville High School 2025 graduates committed to play sports at the next level.

BELLEVILLE — Four 2025 Belleville High School graduates will be moving on to play sports at the collegiate level, having signed their letters of intent.

Maddi DeSmet, a 1,000 point scorer in her basketball career, will keep the Wildcats moniker a little longer, as she will hit hardwood at Madison College this fall. DeSmet is a two-time All-Capitol South First Team selection and conference champion.

Zoey Lovejoy will join DeSmet at Madison College, albeit on the women’s soccer team. Lovejoy was an All-Capitol Honorable Mention selection and a three-time conference champion with the Sugar River Raiders.

Blake Endres is a WIAA State Champion wrestler, having won the Division 2 126-pound weight class this past season. Endres will be wrestling for the Loras College Duhawks next year.

Niles Monroe a two-time All-Capitol South First Team selection and conference champion will be trading in his navy and gold uniform for a black and gold set, as he will be joining former teammate Devin Frydenlund in the UW-Superior Yellowjacket baseball program.
