MONROE — The WIAA released the girls volleyball tournament brackets Oct. 16.
In Division 2, Monroe received a No. 12 seed and will travel to River Valley Oct. 22 for a first-round game. With an upset win, the Cheesemakers would either host Wisconsin Dells or travel to Mount Horeb Oct. 24. Top-seeded Platteville is likely to host the regional championship match Oct. 26.
Brodhead received the No. 1 seed in the Division 3 playoffs. With the top seed, the Cardinals, given an honorable mention ranking in the most recent Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association poll, received a bye in the first round and will host the winner of No. 9 New Glarus and No. 8 Deerfield, to be played Oct. 22.

Darlington scored a No. 5 seed and will host Fennimore Oct. 22, with the winner taking on either 13th-seeded Williams Bay or 4th-seeded Cuba City.
In Division 4, ninth-ranked Black Hawk received a No. 3 seed and will host 14th-seeded Albany in the first round. The winner will take on either 11th-seeded Barneveld or 6th-seeded Argyle, which plays Oct. 22 in Argyle.
Monticello received the No. 5 seed and will host 12th-seeded Juda Oct. 22. The winner will take on either 4th-seeded Randolph or 13th-seeded Faith Christian.
Pecatonica earned the No. 7 seed and will host Cambria-Friesland, with a likely second-round matchup at 2nd-seeded Fall River. Burlington Catholic Central received the No. 1 seed in the sectional.
