STEVENS POINT — The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association begins its search for an associate director, formerly named deputy director, to fill the position currently held by Dr. Wade Labecki, who announced his retirement, effective Sept. 1, 2021.

The information and details for the associate director position search was posted on the WIAA website and distributed to various associations and partners Wednesday. Interested individuals seeking the position must submit application materials by Thursday, June 24, 2021. 

The first round of interviews is scheduled to be conducted via Zoom Thursday, July 8. Final interviews are expected to be held at the WIAA office in Stevens Point Tuesday, July 20.

The anticipated start date for the successful candidate is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 2.
