WFCA All-State teams announced

POYNETTE — The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) has announced the 2025 All-State Team and four players from Darlington, one from Black Hawk-Warren, and one from New Glarus have been named to the small schools team.

For the Darlington Redbirds, junior Calum Crist was named First Team All-State at inside linebacker. Crist also received Honorable Mention at running back. Also receiving Honorable Mention for Darlington were junior Dante Glendenning at outside linebacker, junior Zeke Zuberbuhler at quarterback and defensive back, and Blaze White at offensive line.

The Black Hawk-Warren Warriors were represented by senior Bryce VanRaalte, who was Honorable Mention at outside linebacker. The New Glarus Glarner Knights placed senior Luke Burton on the All-State Honorable Mention team at defensive end.

The WFCA also recently released the Team Academic All-State awards. State champion Darlington, with nine seniors, had a team GPA of 3.553. Monroe (14 seniors, 3.41 GPA), New Glarus (10 seniors, 3.38 GPA) and Parkview-Albany (6 seniors, 3.615 GPA) also earned team honors.

Individually, 23 local student-athletes were honored as Academic All-State.

Darlington — Broker Buschor, Alan Merriam, Paxton Paisley, Blaze White, Brody Whitford

Monroe — Tysen Folgate, Matt Hanusa, Peyton Herbst, Brad Holst, Will Keehn, Bryson Schrimpf, Noah Spotts, Hamilton Stites

New Glarus — Milo Johnson, Matthew Roth, Jaiden Sidwell

Parkview-Albany — Milo Jackson, Kamron Parker
