POYNETTE — The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association has made its selections for the All-Region Team and players from five area schools were named to the team for the 2025 season.
Four players from the Darlington Redbirds were named. Junior Zeke Zuberbuhler was named to the team at quarterback and defensive back. Junior Calum Crist made the team at running back and inside linebacker. Senior offensive lineman Blaze White and junior outside linebacker Dante Glendenning were also selected. In addition, Darlington assistant coach Jared McGranahan received Assistant Coach of the Year honors.
Two players from the Black Hawk-Warren Warriors were named to the team on both offense and defense. Junior Cole Dunlavey was named to the team at offensive lineman and defensive end. Senior Bryce VanRaalte made the team as a tight end/fullback and at outside linebacker.
Senior Peyton Herbst of the Monroe Cheesemakers received honors on both sides of the ball as an offensive lineman and defensive end.
Senior Luke Burton of the New Glarus Glarner Knights was recognized at defensive end and senior Garrett Pauli of the Belleville Wildcats earned honors on the offensive line.
Players from seven divisions plus 8-player football earned awards. All-State Teams will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
RVC All-Conference
JEFFERSON — The Rock Valley Conference has released its 2025 All-Conference football team and six players from the Monroe Cheesemakers received honors.
Named First Team Offense were senior offensive lineman Peyton Herbst and senior kicker Brock Brandli. Second Team Offense honors went to sophomore running back Tristan Anderson. Herbst received the award for Co-Lineman of the Year in the Rock Valley Conference.
Herbst was also named First Team Defense.
Three Cheesemakers were recognized for Honorable Mention. Senior running back Noah Spotts, senior defensive lineman Waylon Yoder, and junior cornerback Lucas Bartels made the Honorable Mention squad.
Cheesemakers Assistant Coach Shawn Paulson was one of four coaches to receive the Assistant Coach of the Year award.
SWC All-Conference
PRAIRIE DU CHIEN — The New Glarus Glarner Knights earned a share of the Southwest Wisconsin Conference football title and six players have been named to the SWC All-Conference team along with two coaches.
On offense, senior wide receiver Will Pinnow and junior offensive lineman Will Glotfelty were named to the First Team Offense. The Glarner Knights were also well-represented on defense as senior defensive lineman Dylan Colstad, junior defensive end Brent Weeden, senior defensive end Luke Burton, and senior inside linebacker Ashlin Mihlbauer were named to First Team defense along with senior defensive back Will Pinnow. Mihlbauer was also named as a First Team Specialist as he served as the Glarner Knights’ kicker.
Burton was also chosen as the Defensive Lineman of the year.
In addition to the players awards, Glarner Knights head coach D.J. Schuett received the Coach of the Year award along with Prairie du Chien head coach Kevin Campbell. Travis Zimmerman of New Glarus was also honored with the Assistant Coach of the Year award.
