ARGYLE — Black Hawk capped an unbeaten Six Rivers East schedule with a 3-0 sweep of Argyle Oct. 17. The Warriors won 25-16, 25-15, 25-13 and have won back-to-back conference titles.
Black Hawk’s Bailey Butler finished with 14 kills and three digs while sister Hannah Butler had 10 kills, seven blocks, and two aces. Maddy Huschitt dished out 10 assists for the Warriors, which also got six assists and a pair of aces from Macie Stauffacher.
Maggie Godfrey had 15 digs, two blocks and 10 kills, while Megan Johnson had 16 assists and an ace for Argyle. Tori Lantz chipped in with five kills.
Monticello 3, Albany 0
MONTICELLO — The Ponies finished off the regular season with a 25-19, 25-13, 25-17 sweep of Albany Oct. 17.
Ellie Gustafson had 11 kills to lead Monticello, while Maggie Bak and Mackie Errthum each had five kills. Alexa Siegenthaler dished out 22 assists for the Ponies, which also got 12 digs from Miah Brokopp, two blocks from Hannah Clark, and seven aces Cassie Schenkel.
Brianna Dahl and Jada Flannery each had seven kills for Albany, with Dahl adding two blocks and Mady Conway collecting 10 digs.
In other area action, Brodhead was third in the Rock Valley Conference Tournament Oct. 19. The Cardinals defeated Big Foot and Edgerton, but lost to McFarland.
