BLOOMINGTON — The Black Hawk-Warren Warriors won the Six Rivers Conference football title outright, and to no surprise dominated the selections for the all-conference team.
Black Hawk-Warren placed four players on First Team All-Conference on offense and four players on First Team All-Conference on defense. The Warriors had two players make Second Team All-Conference on offense and one player was named Second Team All-Conference on defense.
First Team All-Conference on offense went to senior running back Jacob Woodruff, senior tight end/H-back Bryce Van Raalte, junior offensive lineman Cole Dunlavey, and sophomore Aiden Mosely. Making First Team All-Conference on defense for the Warriors were sophomore down lineman Aiden Mosely, junior defensive end Cole Dunlavey, senior outside linebacker Bryce VanRaalte, and senior outside linebacker Jacob Woodruff.
Making the Second Team was junior quarterback Beau Podnar, and senior offensive lineman Spencer Hay-Skattum on offense. Hay-Skattum was also named to Second Team defense as an inside linebacker.
Honorable Mention on offense went to senior running back Ashton McNett of Pecatonica-Argyle, junior wide receiver Brock Erickson of Pecatonica-Argyle, and senior offensive lineman Riley Bourquin of Black Hawk-Warren. Honorable Mention on defense was awarded to junior cornerback Martin Anderson of Pecatonica-Argyle and junior safety Beau Podnar of Black Hawk-Warren.
The Sportsmanship Team features junior Jonah Hanson of Pecatonica-Argyle and manager Matthew Hagen of Black Hawk-Warren.
The Defensive Player of the Year is Bryce VanRaalte of Black Hawk-Warren. The Defensive Lineman of the Year is Cole Dunlavey of Black Hawk-Warren. Assistant Coach of the Year went to Doug O’Brien of Black Hawk-Warren. Desi Breadon of Black Hawk-Warren was named Coach of the Year.
