Two Redbirds named Academic All-State

DARLINGTON — Two golfers were named Academic All-State from the Darlington girls team. Josie Thomas, a sophomore, was announced as a High Honors recipient from the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin, while senior teammate Marissa Gould earned Honors.

To be eligible for Academic All-State, student-athletes need to have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25, compete in at least 75% of their team matches and be at least a sophomore in high school. Across the state, 342 student-athletes from 100 schools earned Academic All-State honors this fall, with a cumulative GPA of 3.881.
