MINERAL POINT — Three players from the Darlington Redbirds were named to the SWAL Girls Basketball 2025-2026 All-Conference Team. 

All three players were named to First Team All-Conference. Senior Maddie Gratz, senior Sadie Goebel, and junior Lilly Ritchie received honors from the Southwest Wisconsin Activities League after going 18-8 overall and 11-3 in the SWAL. The Redbirds finished in third place in the SWAL and their season featured an 11-game winning streak.

Ashley Rowe of Cuba City was named Player of the Year and Merrill Brunson of Mineral Point was named Coach of the Year.

The SWAL also announced its All-Conference Wrestling team. One wrestler from Darlington was named to the team — freshman Maximo Xolo was named Honorable Mention. Xolo qualified for the state wrestling tournament and took sixth place at 175 pounds.
