BELLEVILLE — Sugar River closed out its regular season with a 2-0 nonconference loss to Edgewood Oct. 17.

Edgewood (7-9-2) scored a goal in each half — the first came at the 31:02 mark, and the second a penalty kick in the 83rd minute.

Sugar River (11-7-1) hosts Cambridge-Deerfield (7-5-4) in the WIAA Division 3 postseason opener Oct. 24. The two teams played to a draw Oct. 14.

OREGON — The host Panthers (11-6-1) scored five goals in the first half and added another in the second half. 

The Cheesemakers (3-13) travel to Mount Horeb (10-6-1) Oct. 24 in the opening round of the D3 playoffs.
