DARLINGTON — The Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin recently announced its Academic All-State honorees. 

There were 470 students across 122 high schools that received the award, and Darlington’s Elie Riechers and Makenna Martin were two of them.

Student athletes were submitted by their coaches and had to have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, had to participate in at least 75% of their team’s varsity competitions during the season, be in good standing regarding athletic and school codes of conduct and be either a sophomore, junior or senior.
