DARLINGTON — The Darlington cross country program held its annual alumni meet on Saturday, Aug. 31. New this year, junior high teams joined the varsity and alumni in the event.
“In general, both teams ran very well considering the week of practice we had,” Darlington head coach Kent Miehe said. “We had three heavy workout days and still came out and ran very comparable times to last year.”
Junior Adalee Berget won for the second straight year and sophomore Marcus Kendall took home his first Alumni Meet win.
