CUBA CITY — In one of the tightest meets in recent years, Darlington took fourth out of four teams at Cole Acres Sept. 10. The Redbirds score of 210 was one shot shy of Prairie du Chien, seven shy of second-place Lancaster (203) and eight behind meet champion Southwestern-Cuba City-Benton (202).

Kennedy Wagner shot a 47 to lead Darlington, which was good enough for third place overall. Marissa Gould shot a 53, Maggie Nordquist carded a 56 and Allison Thompson finished with a 54 for the Redbirds.

Lancaster’s Lindsey Wolf was the medalist with a 44.

Darlington was scheduled to play at Prairie du Chien Thursday and is at Lancaster for a dual Monday.
