BELLEVILLE — The Raiders had a field day on the pitch May 18, pummeling Lakeside Lutheran 9-0.

Jaylynn Benson had a hat trick for Sugar River, scoring three goals. Kirsten Krantz had two goals and two assists. Gina Salmela, Paige Leonard, Bella Brenkman and Regyn Jelle all had a goal apiece. Jelle and Riley O’Flanagan also had assists, and Lily Maynard had two assists.

Morgan Thompson and Kaitlyn Peterson split halves in goal.

Sugar River (7-1, 3-0 Capitol Conference) led 4-0 at halftime, then added five goals in the second half to put the game away.
