BELLEVILLE — On May 13 Sugar River hosted the Raider Invitational in Belleville. Columbus won the girls team title ahead of Sugar River, with Monroe finishing fourth. On the boys side, Sugar River was the team champion, finishing just ahead of Monroe.

‘Sparky’ Reynolds Memorial Invitational
BOSCOBEL — Lancaster won the girls team title at the 24-team invitational May 12 in Boscobel. Cuba City was the boys team champion.
Darlington was eighth in the girls standings and seventh in the boys, while Pecatonica-Argyle also competed locally.
Laura Weaver of Darlington was the individual champion in the Discus with a throw of 113-04, a full 13-feet ahead of second place Jayla Nagel of Kickapoo-La Farge. Darlington’s 400-meter girls relay team was second (51.71), as was the 800-meter relay squad (1:51.24).
Anna Tisch was third in the 300-hurdles for Pec-Argyle with a time of 50.82 seconds.
On the boys side, Ridge Toay of Pecatonica-Argyle was second in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 41.16 seconds.
Darlington’s 1,600-meter relay team took first place (3:31.92) by more than two seconds.
Easton Evenstad was third in the 100-meter dash (11.25), finishing just 1/100th of a second behind second place. He was also second in the long jump (20-02.25). Carver Fitzsimons was third in the high jump (6-0), just two inches behind the champion.
Rock Valley Conference Meet
BELOIT — Turner hosted the Rock Valley Conference Meet May 14. Brodhead-Juda’s girls team won the team title with 133.5 points, while the Cardinals were third on the boys side with 98 points, trailing Jefferson (118) and McFarland (127).
Kalena Riemer won the 800-meter run with a season-best 2:32.52. Addie Yates was the champion in the 100-meter hurdles (16.18) and the long jump (16-10), and took second in the 300-meter hurdles (49.36).
Stella Arn was second in the 200-meter dash (27.20). Kiarra Moe was second in the shot put with a personal best 34-09.
Brodhead-Juda’s team of Stella Arn, Madi Brown, Kalena Riemer and Ellie Yates were second in the 1,600-meter relay (4:24.97).
On the boys side, Blake Senobe, Leon Saunders, Sy Weeden and Brady Bruns won the 400-meter relay title (44.55). Blake Mathys was the champion in the shot put (45-00), with teammate Gage Boegli second (44-7.5). Josiah Engen was the champion in the high jump (6-0). Nathan Engen was second in the triple-jump (39-8.5).
