BLANCHARDVILLE — Junior Griffin Noll scored 23 points, junior Martin Anderson tallied 17 points, and junior Luke Leonard contributed 13 points to lead the Pecatonica Vikings to a 68-48 win over the Boscobel Bulldogs in nonconference boys high school basketball on Monday, Dec. 1.
The Vikings got off to a 32-23 halftime lead. The Bulldogs shot just 3-17 from three-point range and committed 26 turnovers.
Pecatonica (2-0) began Six Rivers East Conference action on Thursday, Dec. 4 at Albany.
Turner 81, Belleville 48
BELLEVILLE — The Turner Trojans cruised to an 81-48 victory over the Belleville Wildcats in nonconference boys basketball on Monday, Dec. 1. Turner led 30-19 at halftime, then blitzed the Wildcats for 51 points in the second half to take the win.
Senior Isaac Patrow and senior Jackson Scholey each scored 14 points to lead Belleville.
The Wildcats (0-2) hosted Lancaster in another nonconference game on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Edgerton 80, Brodhead 15
EDGERTON — The Edgerton Crimson Tide rolled past the Brodhead Cardinals 80-15 in a Rock Valley Conference, Rock Division season opener in boys basketball on Tuesday, Dec. 2. The Crimson Tide built up a 46-5 lead at halftime.
The Cardinals were led in scoring by senior Nolan Bump with five points. Sophomore Logan Krupke scored three points. Senior Lucas Keating, junior Dylan Ross, and junior Landen Malcook each scored two points.
Brodhead (0-1) hosted New Glarus in a nonconference game on Friday, Dec. 5.
