Pec rolls Belmont, Argyle overwhelmed by ranked Potosi

BELMONT — The Vikings coasted to an easy nonconference win over the Braves Jan. 14, winning 82-44.

Jaden Hendrickson was one of four Pecatonica players in double figures, leading all scorers with 20 points. Colton Schraepfer had 17 for the Vikings, while Zack Eaton had 13 and Bo Hendrickson added 10.

Pecatonica led 45-28 at halftime and dominated even more in the second half, outscoring the Braves 37-16 over the final 18 minutes of the game.


Potosi 52, Argyle 23

POTOSI — The Orioles couldn’t hang with one of the state’s best teams in a nonconference game Jan. 14.

The Chieftains, ranked sixth in the Week 7 WisSports.net Coaches Poll, hit six 3s and grabbed 49 rebounds in the victory. 

Potosi’s Brady Curtis led all scorers with 20 points.

In other action, unbeaten and second-ranked Darlington defeated Iowa-Grant 55-36 Jan. 15.
