ORFORDVILLE — The Trailways recently released its all-conference selections, and four players from Parkview-Albany were chosen.
Caleb Smith was selected as a second-team tight end. In four games recorded on Wissports.net, Smith had 34 carries for 340 yards with four rushing touchdowns — all team bests. He also had a 60-yard catch for a touchdown. Mathias Treinen was a second-team offensive flex. In four games, he was 4-for-7 passing for 227 yards and one touchdown. Treinen also ran for 131 yards with a rushing touchdown. In the air, he had three receptions for 172 yards and two touchdowns.
On the defensive end, Corbin Williams tallied 14 tackles in four games with one of them for a loss, earning second-team. Kaden Zurfluh earned honorable mention defense with four tackles in three games. Zurfluh was also named to the sportsmanship team.
Parkview-Albany finished league play with a 1-6 record and 2-7 overall.
