MOUNT HOREB — The Sugar River Raiders’ winning streak was stopped at one as the Mount Horeb Vikings topped the Raiders 2-1 in nonconference action on Thursday, Oct. 2.

The Raiders got a goal in the first half from Tikeh Tazeh with an assist from Drew Brueggemann. The Vikings also got a goal in the first half and the teams were tied at 1-1 at halftime. The Vikings came up with a goal in the second half while the Raiders were shut out.

The loss drops the Raiders to 10-3-1 overall. They will get back into Capitol Conference action on Tuesday, Oct. 7 when they travel to Cambridge/Deerfield/Waterloo.

EDGERTON — Brock Brandli had a goal and Juan Escobedo an assist as the Cheesemakers dropped a close Rock Valley game on Thursday, Oct. 2. Goalie Barrett Brandli had eight saves.
