MONROE — With just one conference dual meet left on its schedule, the Monroe-New Glarus swim team is peaking at the right time. The Cheese Knights improved to 6-1 in the Badger Conference with a 112.5-57.5 win over McFarland on Oct. 15.

“The girls swam great. Probably their best swims at the YMCA,” co-head coach Haley Neuenschwander said. “We thought the score was going to be closer, but we came ready to swim. It’s getting to the point in the year that the girls are tired and sickness is going through our team, but they keep showing up each day putting in the work.”
