PORTAGE — The Cheesemakers won a second-straight dual meet this swimming season, knocking off Portage 113-31 on Sept. 27.
Individuals taking first place for Monroe-New Glarus include Megan Chapman (100-meter freestyle, 1:04.72), Piper Faber (400-free, 5:25.31), Riley Hoesly (200-free 2:26.53), Anna Zentner (200 IM, 2:41.43; 100-backstroke, 1:16.55), Delaney Lynch (50-free, 29.82; 100-butterfly (1:14.79) and Maggie Piper (100-breaststroke, 1:34.00).
Monroe-New Glarus also won all three relays.
Up next is the 6 p.m. Oct. 4 home swim meet against Sauk Prairie at the Green County Family YMCA. The dual will be dubbed Paint the Pool Pink Night in support of cancer awareness.
