MADISON — Juda lost to Madison Abundant Life in the season opener Nov. 23, 51-39.
Mason Kammerer had 19 points to lead the Panthers, while Ward Steinmann and Aaron Makos each had eight points.
Juda hit just nine 2-pointers in the game, and just two 3s. However, the Panthers were 15 of 21 from the charity stripe.
Abundant Life jumped out to a 30-18 halftime lead. In the second half, Juda held its opponents to just 21 points, with 12 coming on four 3s alone.
In other season-opening boys basketball action Nov. 23, Iowa-Grant defeated Argyle 52-40 and Pecatonica lost to Benton 55-47 thanks to 22 points from 6-4 Zephyrs junior forward Rex Blaine.
