● Clayton Streiff
● Lance Brecklin
● Simon Zimmerman
● Jackson Erstad
● Isaac Ingwell
The GCAW was proud to announce that 424 students from 128 different high schools have been honored this year. The average GPA of these students is an exceptional 3.729.
The GCAW was formed by high school golf coaches in 1986 to help build and enhance Wisconsin’s reputation for developing quality junior players by promoting golf in our schools and communities.
Students are submitted by member coaches of the GCAW and must meet the following criteria to be considered for this great award:
● The student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
● The student-athlete must have participated in at least 75% of their team’s varsity competitions during the 2025 season
● The student-athlete must be in good standing regarding athletic and school codes of conduct at their participating schools
● The student-athlete must be either a sophomore, junior, or senior
In a press release, the GCAW wished senior student-athletes the best of luck as they prepare for their new challenges after high school. The GCAW trusts that golf has taught the student-athletes valuable lessons that they will always be able to draw upon as they face future obstacles.
For the underclassmen, The GCAW hopes they will continue pursuing golf, while at the same time maintaining the high academic standards that they have set for themselves in the classroom.
