High school football practices kicked off around the state of Wisconsin as teams get prepared for the upcoming fall season. On Thursday, August 7, Monroe was padded up and getting in some hitting drills, intermixed with conditioning. The Cheesemakers scrimmage Darlington on Friday, August 25, and then open up at home against Lodi on August 22. This is the school’s final season at TR Holyoke Field. Monroe is also looking for a fifth-straight Rock Valley Conference title. The Cheesemakers haven’t lost in the conference (33 games) since entering in 2020.
