LANCASTER — The girls golf team shot a 188 at the Lancaster conference mini meet on Thursday, Sept. 7, which was enough for second place. Lancaster won the meet with a team score of 166, having the top two golfers in Brianna Kirsch and Lynell Miller.
The score bests their previous team best of 190, shot during the Darlington mini meet on Aug. 25. Both scores are in the top five in school history.
Sophie Wiegel paced the Redbirds with a 43, including four pars. Josie Meister was one stroke behind, with two pars.
