ALBANY — The Comets struggled in an 82-48 nonconference loss to Parkview Feb. 22.
Javon Ferguson led Albany with 14 points, while Luke Johnson and Rob Schroeder each had eight.
Tyler Oswald made 12 field goals, including five 3s and finished with 29 points for the Vikings. Teammate Connor Simonson had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Parkview led 47-31 at halftime. Two days earlier, Albany picked up its first Six Rivers East Conference win of the season, 41-37 over Juda.
New Glarus 85, Waterloo 48
WATERLOO — The Glarner Knights led 46-24 at halftime and never looked back in their Capitol South win Feb. 21.
Mason Martinson led all scorers with 30 points, while New Glarus teammates Garrett James (15) and Deven Vasquez (12) also reached double digits. Will Melland added eight points.
Chase Bostwick led the Pirates with 14 points.
In other area scores, Argyle rallied from down five at halftime to score a 49-43 win at Barneveld in a Six Rivers East Conference game Feb. 20. The victory clinched a second-place spot in the league standings.
