The Monroe Cheesemakers competed against Edgewood in the first round of the Mukwanago Quadrangular in tennis on May 3. Edgewood defeated the Cheesemakers, 6-1. Cheesemaker coach Matt Bordner said,  “Edgewood is in our subsectional, so playing competitively with them was important for both seeding purposes and for our confidence. It would have been great to pick up another win or two in this round, but I think we all felt like we can certainly hang with this team which should give us some confidence heading into the postseason.”
