MONROE — The Rock Valley recently released its all-conference selections, and Monroe had three players recognized.
Sophie Golembiewski highlighted the list as a second-team member. She led the team with four solo blocks and 18 assisted blocks for a total of 22. Offensively, she tallied 63 kills in 261 attempts.
Olivia Feller and Mya Wild earned honorable mention all-conference. Feller had the second-most aces on the team and served at a 91.6% clip. She led the team with 85 kills in 413 attempts. Wild paced the Cheesemakers with 44 aces. She was the team’s main setter, tallying 243 assists. Defensively, Wild led Monroe with 172 digs.
Monroe finished league play with a 1-7 record, tied with Whitewater. The Cheesemakers dropped their opening playoff game to Reedsburg, 3-0.
